2L grade drop for no offer...? (No GPA)
On the cusp of 2L spring finals and obviously I'm going to gun as hard as I can, but feeling skittish about the possibility of being no-offered this summer for grades (going to a V15). Aggregated grades went from about 75% H's to about 60% H's at the end of 2L first semester. At HYS, with LR+a secondary, and a 2/9/DC clerkship lined up for after graduation.
In the absence of evidence, perhaps I'm being ridiculous and overly concerned, but TLS has conditioned me into hyperawareness of such factors.
Associates and veterans of TLS, is there any reason for concern here? Or have I just invented a monster in the throes of finals-induced stress?

Would have told you not to worry, but then you said V15. Keep gunning. Godspeed.

Flame? HLR, SLR, YLJ should be enough to secure offer. If thats not enough, Clerkship should be enough to secure offer.
Regardless, just parlay that clerkship into a V5 gig. V15 is for chumps.

guys above me are kidding/making fun of you. no one cares about vault.
you're absolutely not getting no offered. and you don't have to gun at all. it's 2L spring, you don't even have to study.
I mean this has to be the most flame

I don't think this is healthy. Will assume it's just an unfunny joke.

OP - not flame, sorry if it looks that way. I truly have no idea what/where our medians are and what's a "big" vs "marginal" drop, so that's what's been putting me on edge.
Anyway, thanks for letting me know I'm just being ridiculous. It really does help to have some extrinsic perspective.

Have you never heard "Ps get 160Gs"?
That's not a joke. It's an accurate description of HYS

As long as you don't receive a failing grade in multiple classes you're fine.

You do realize that you have better credentials that 99% of law students in the country, right? Have a little self-confidence my friend. You are going to be fine whether or not you get an offer.

Yes, there is a reason for concern: Why would someone with your credentials settle for a "V15"? Aim higher. (And by "higher," I don't mean V10.)Anonymous User wrote:Associates and veterans of TLS, is there any reason for concern here?
