Crowdsource my next move

My background: CCN Graduate, Mid-Level at V5 (NYC), Corporate.
Current Work Situation: I have been generally content at my firm, but lately things have become borderline unbearable. From what I understand, I am fairly well liked. I could ride the waive and hope things get better.
Current Debt Situation: I have about $200K in student loans.
Preferences: I like NYC, but have become a bit jaded to the rat race of it all. I would prefer to live in a bigger house with a yard. I do place value on the cultural offerings of NYC.
Career Goals: I could see myself shooting for partner, but realize that the prospects are nill in Big Law. I could see myself in-house somewhere at some point too. All things considered, I think I'd prefer working at a firm for the foreseeable future (see Debt Situation above).
The Options: Stay at my current V5, Lateral in Big Law NYC, Target Big Law in secondary markets and get out of NYC (some ideas are Richmond or Miami) or Get out of Big Law and find a firm where partner prospects are real.
Questions are welcome. For those that vote for secondary markets, firms and market ideas are appreciated (east coast). On that note, does anyone have any suggestions for Florida firms for M&A work? We may be open to Florida more than other options. Thanks.
