Carpe Diem - Temporary Matter #

Have a few cases that I'm on that we didn't get a matter # for yet. I Forgot how to make a temporary matter #. I don't want to ask because I should have remembered.

Ctrl + Shift + F7
If that doesn't work, you might have to clear your browser history first.

Use personal number and change it later? Also just ask? I don't think anyone will care.

The easiest way (at least with our version) is to create a nickname (i.e., put "-" (no quotes) in both the client/matter number and it will prompt you to create a nickname). You can add more time to the nickname by referencing it (i.e., \nickname). When you get an actual matter number, you can edit the nickname and it will automatically propagate to all time entries.
