City Attorney 1L Summer?

I am considering a 1L position with a city attorney's office, but I know very little about what to expect from a summer internship there. What kind of work do city attorney interns do doing the summer? I know first summer employment doesn't matter as long as it's legal, but will a city attorney internship give me decent legal experience? My ultimate goal is biglaw in the same city as the city attorney's office.
