You need to take the job offer.
In a few years reassess if it would be helpful to get the LLM. It's possible your firm may even pay for it.

I was considering doing a Tax LLM at Georgetown as well since it would only be another 12 credits for us along with our JD, but my career advisor basically said it's not necessary or worth it unless you want another shot at BigLaw. She told me to go check to see how many people actually have Tax LLMs at certain BigLaw firms, and surprisingly enough there really wasn't as many as I thought. So if you already have a job offer, there's really no point to trying to do too much. I would echo previous poster and just wait and see and focus on your work at the firm. You can always reapply to the top Tax LLM programs later and they'd likely accept you, so there's not much risk there.
