Taxes and C&F

Hello,
I'm applying to and sitting for a state bar this summer. I realized yesterday that in making a joint filing for my and my wife's taxes several weeks ago, I omitted one $900 check my wife received this year from a former employer (an entity she did not work for in 2015) that was subject to standard withholding. It was basically backpay since she never received the first check in 2014, and we had completely forgotten about it. I'm not particularly concerned about an audit since 1) she did pay taxes on it and 2) its a small amount and our total declared income was below the threshold that the IRS usually cares about, but I am a little more sensitive than usual since I'll be applying for C&F this year.
Any advise? Its extraordinarily cumbersome for me to amend the filing now since I'm living abroad. Would this be something I have to declare? Or only if the tax board and the IRS began an investigation? Since its my wife's income would it even come up in my character review, or when you're filing jointly is it all one? (First time filing jointly).
Thanks.
