1L Summer Job. Which is best route to firm?

Hi TLS'ers- quick question.
I'm a 1L at CCN with medianish grades. I've got a background in public interest work, with 2 years post college in a public interest job prior to law school. I have summer offers at FCC and Oxfam. Oxfam would probably be cheaper as I could live with my bf and I'm interested in human rights work generally, but I'm concerned that firms may view this as me being too committed to public interest/non-profit work at EIW/OCI. However, I may just have no idea and firms won't care- so I'm curious to get the opinions of other TLS'ers on this. Is the public interest-govt. work- firm route easier to sell than the public interest- non-profit-firm route (especially with median grades)?
Though, to note, both jobs sound really interesting and I think I would enjoy them both on a professional level, just curious for a broader perspective.
oxfam-4,500 guaranteed (would be about 3000 after rent plus less food cost)
FCC- 4,500 guaranteed and potential for 7000. (about 4000 after rent)
Thanks!!
