NYC Lateral Litigation Associate - Covington v Akin v Latham

Hi guys,
Super fortunate to have offers to work at these three places as a junior lateral. I am interested in white collar litigation with an aim to work for the government several years from now (DOJ/AUSA/SEC), although I would also like to have some commercial litigation matters on my plate. I really liked the people I met at both places, especially Covington and Latham. I am a bit worried about working in an NYC office for a DC firm, like Covington or Akin, but I am not sure whether this is a valid concern (I am lateraling from a traditional NYC-based firm).
Any thoughts will be appreciated!
