DE Exit Options

Did a quick search forum search and couldn't find this...but what kind of exit options (beyond in-house) are available for DE big four associates? How far geographically can DE experience take you? Where do people go from DE? Does it matter which of the big four you're at?
Any and all anecdotes appreciated.

I am curious about this as well.
If you look at the WSGR's Wilmington office, it looks like many came from MNAT. Is this a typical exit--that is from one firm to another? Where else do DE attorney's go other than to a different firm in town?

Here's what I have seen:
1) V100s in other markets
2) Partner or counsel at smaller Wilmington firms
3) In-house to Wilmington offices of bigger businesses or Wilmington businesses
4) Associate forever
Also, Delaware firms make more counsels and partners than their NY counterparts, as is pretty apparent by the numbers.

Interesting how many WSGR associates are MNAT people. Nearly half the whole office. Weird.

Gosh it's almost like MNAT chews up associates and spits them out and had to move to 160 to stem the bleeding

I'm curious whether MNAT's QOL is significantly worse than the other big 4, or if something else is going on here (e.g., people hate Wilmington, more opportunities, etc.).

Not sure whether to bump this thread or the other one, but are there any opinions on which type of DE big 4 practice is best for exit options? I.e., would DE corporate or litigation experience make you more marketable to other employers?
