Debevoise Holiday Gift?

Post by NDOMUKONGGGG » Tue Dec 08, 2015 1:50 pm

Hi TLS:) I am curious about whether I should expect any holiday gift from Debevoise & Plimpton. I have some friends getting some gifts from their firms, and I suppose curiosity is getting the best of me:):):) Does anyone have any information about what, if anything, I can expect? Happy Holidays, all! :):):)

Indeed you should :) I think last year we got ipod nanos, a starbucks gift card, and a portable coffee mug with the old logo. Maybe one or two of those things were acceptance gifts, and maybe I'm missing something, but bottom line: expect something! Debevoise takes care of its people.

(Anon cause school and firm combo would out me completely)

Should the good folks from DPW be expecting anything? I'd settle for a left-over selfie stick.

last year they sent us a throw blanket with Kirkland & Ellis embroidered on it, pretty nice blanket, could be bigger though.

Hate to be a newb - but to clarify you're a 2L or 3L who accepted an offer at Debevoise? Didn't even know law firms send holiday gifts to incoming associates/SAs. Guess I should be expecting one from my V5 firm as well?
