SEC 2L Honors in Flyover Country?

HCCN. Is this the best I can do at this point, or should I wait for a better office/in house positions knowing neither will lead to a FT offer?
It was an invitation to interview, not an offer. (I just applied @ the deadline a few days ago).
The goal is to stay in play for 3L NY mass-mailing. If I'm a few time zones away at the moment someone decides whether to invite me for an interview, that would just be another reason to discard my application (inconvenience/reimbursement).

Honestly, just interview; accept the offer if given; and drop it if something better comes up.

Anyone know (1L summer or 2L summer) whether accepting one office eliminates you from every other office? Like flyover eliminates you from NY, DC, etc. Because saying "yes" apparently leads that office to send your application over to DC HQ for clearing. So if flyover, because small, moves much faster than NY/DC, then the SEC's HQ clearing will withdraw you from all other offices, right?

Do the big offices (NY/DC) move faster or slower than the flyover ones?
