How beneficial is it for a corporate attorney to have an econ background?

Can you be a good corporate attorney w/o having an econ or accounting background?

Literally had an assignment this summer to do regression analysis in a way they thought opposing counsel expert witness might just to play devil's advocate (but this was only because they knew I had a background in it... If you have a prof who practiced for more than a hot second in a corporate role somewhere, ask them. We can tell you the usual litany of stuff to take from titles, but the prof probably knows what the actual classes and profs are like. This assumes you don't have a class on charting upstream affiliate clauses from poorly scanned documents and entering them into a diligence chart.Anonymous User wrote:OP here: Thanks for the replies!
