Def. Not only are econ, accounting, and finance are distinct disciplines (though clearly with overlaps), the law in and of itself is an independent discipline.

if you have a finance/accounting background, it'll be easier to understand those defined terms like working capital or GAAP, but really they are not that important and you can pick up fairly quick

Just kidding Jenkins, your job is really to make a piece of patter we sign. WE NEED IT STAT
Literally had an assignment this summer to do regression analysis in a way they thought opposing counsel expert witness might just to play devil's advocate (but this was only because they knew I had a background in it... Just saying)

As a business major, it gave me a nice background which really helped/helps in business oriented classes but hurts/not as helpful in writing classes

And they make up work for summers. You'll be making sig pages when you get back.
Also no client was actually billed for that work.

I like the phrasing of your title more than the phrasing of the question in the text of your post. It will probably help somewhat, but nothing major.

If you have a prof who practiced for more than a hot second in a corporate role somewhere, ask them. We can tell you the usual litany of stuff to take from titles, but the prof probably knows what the actual classes and profs are like. This assumes you don't have a class on charting upstream affiliate clauses from poorly scanned documents and entering them into a diligence chart.

Also, ctrl + A in word and ctrl g (searching on Edgar in chrome)
