Insurance Coverage Exit Opps

Next year I'm going to start working at a firm doing coverage litigation for London insurers. Anyone know what the exit opportunities are down the road in this area. Do insurance companies usually look to bring on in house counsel with this type of experience or should I be resigned to always being at a law firm being the most likely result. Thanks in advance.

Same question re: exit opportunities for those in insurance coverage. Heck, even more insight to the day-to-day would be great!
