Possible to go from In-house 2L summer to Mid-Biglaw post grad?

So far have struck out at our OCI. I'm roughly top 40% at a T30. Continuing to mass mail everywhere and try and network what I can.
I currently have an in-house internship for a growing tech company, ~300 employees right now (not an F500 or anything). There's only the general counsel and myself, and I basically do the work of a probably junior in-house counsel with reviewing contracts (lots of them since growing), making edits, due diligence work, etc. He has told me if I can't find anything, he's more than happy to let me continue on for the summer as well.
How hard would it be from going this 2L in-house route to a big-mid law job through 3L OCI (crapshoot I know) or other means? I know that any firm experience (maybe absent small law where I wouldn't get hired anyway) is obviously preferred. I wouldn't be lacking in substantive experience, as my responsibility at the company is growing, but I obviously don't have a firm's summer credentials to back me up.
I should note, very unlikely that I would get hired at company post graduation. Company doesn't need another one at the moment, and general counsel has told me that they would want someone with some good firm experience first (when I asked about if they were considering hiring more attorneys).
Thoughts/comments/advice? Anything would be appreciated.
