Interview Lasted 8 min...am I cooked?

Hey all, had an interesting experience the other day, had an interview for a fall internship position that was slotted to be 30min+ last only 8 minutes....I thought the conversation was friendly enough, and I'm a fairly solid interviewer, but that's never happened to me before...is it fair to assume that's a terrible sign? I'd REALLY like that job....

Means nothing. Sometimes interviewers have limited time. I wouldn't read anything into it one way or the other.

OP here,
thanks for the input, but the posts seem to be a bit conflicting...I thought I was a fairly decent interviewer, but again...8 minutes is quiet short....and it's clearly the end of an interview when they say "well thanks for coming in.." etc
eek. I guess this way I have more free time this semester?

Well, if nothing else, the OP's posts are making it easier to see why the interviewer may have wanted to cut things short.

OP, I think the point was that maybe you should do a bit of work on your spelling and grammar...

Is this a paid fall internship position? If it's just free labor for an overworked government agency/DA's office I think they just want to see if you have a pulse.
