You should probably start mass mailing in the next five minutes.
EDIT: This seems like a
reasonable starting point. I probably wouldn't bother too much with the tailoring this dude suggests, however. I'm not an expert in mass mailing, but I think you are at such a point in time that you need to mail pretty much every single firm that could be hiring, starting with NY, then moving down markets to which you could credibly have a tie.

flex any and all personal connections. talk to career services. mass mail small firms. look at government work. you could still get something big, it's not terribly late, but be prepared for the potential to get paid under market in a market paying city. get some experience under your belt and try again next year.
