Extending 28 day deadline for pub interest.

Post by Anonymous User » Mon Sep 14, 2015 3:28 pm

Have an offer from a non-market paying firm with a relatively small summer program. My 28 days is up the end of next week, and I have several government interviews next week. NALP suggests that firms hold offers for candidates seeking pub interest positions until as late as April 1st. http://www.nalp.org/interpretations#pub_int

Has anyone here actually done this? My hunch is that they won't go for it, but I can't get a sense for just how common/accepted this practice is.
