I think firms caring about PI heavy resumes is flame.

It does depend on the firm. I worked in the public sector for a few years before going to law school and did a public interest job 1L summer. I was surprised that more firms didn't care about that, but a few firms brought it up when I was doing OCI and I got dinged by them.

Apparently I'm an awful interviewer, although I'm really not sure what else I could have done to improve. I'm perfectly fine with where I ended up(pays market and great culture) but I am a little annoyed that people with similar GPAs and no LR got V20s. Also: everyone should be mass mailing. I got 4 bites from ~ 80 emails.
