IP large boutique v. GP
Would you accept an offer from Fish (Minn.), Finnegan (DC) or a top GP firm (DC)?
I liked all of them. I just am having a hard time making a decision. Thinking I want to get out of the Midwest, hence the hesitation to go with the Fish offer.

1) Do you want to live in Minnesota or DC?
2) Where is the all-in compensation the best (including COL)?

Not sure where I want to live because I am only familiar with the Midwest but really liked DC.
Overall best compensation is Fish b/c they pay NY wages in MN.
GP firm is considered the #1 firm in DC.

You don't seem to mind cold winters + best compensation, seems like Fish is best choice.
edit: I say this knowing we are considering W+C and Covington in DC.

You could take Fish and then move to their DC office if you really want a change of scenery.
How much patent lit does Covington or W&C do?
