Same situation. Someone who I hate summered at Simpson this summer.
I feel that Cleary certainly has better people personality-wise.

If you summer at Clearly good luck getting the firm to pay for lunches north of 14th St, which essentially means you will be missing out of some of the best NYC cuisine.

If that matters to you, Simpson is the easy choice

it was a hilariously silly thing to consider back when jbagelboy said it a few weeks ago (http://top-law-schools.com/forums/viewt ... n#p8787319) and it's also a silly thing to consider when you copied it

Well I wasn't going to spend 10 minutes trying to find the post, I just remember LOL'ing at it the first time.

Don't really have any useful advice for OP other than I had friends at both places this past summer, and all were happy with their choice

OP -- if you are leaning towards cleary, you should trust your gut and go there. given what you've said about your practice area desires, etc., it's impossible to make a bad decision if your situation.
