Anyone know anything about the Boston office? From what I gather most of the corp work they do is M&A. Anyone have any input on culture, reputation in Boston generally, etc?

All I will say is that Season 6 of GoT is about Dany freeing the associates of Skadden Boston.
Anon because I had an offer there:

Interested as well. Not sure what the second comment means? Is it worse than other big law firms in Boston?

Could someone offer a personal (or at least second-hand) account of life at Skadden Bosston? That would be very helpful.

i met someone who previously worked there and also at a NY V5 - basically, the hours and the work are pretty similar to skadden's peer V5 firms, but some people perceive it (probably rightly so) as a satellite office. as far as boston firms go i don't think it's considered any worse or better than the other boston firms in terms of prestige (maybe a bit less so than WH/GP/ropes), but people's negative sentiments towards this office probably come from the fact that people there work NY hours.
