Considering each firm's culture and transactional work, what are the reasons to pick one firm over the other?

The two firms are similar for corporate work -- Chambers gives a small edge to Paul Weiss (

I tend to think Paul Weiss has a bigger corporate presence in NY, but the difference here isn't big enough to stop you from going to Gibson if you liked them better. I have friends at both firms and I'd say that they also have comparable cultures/personalities, at least in NY.
