Top Law Schools

Wondering if anyone has thoughts on Sheppard Mullin LA? General reputation, strong practice areas, anything. They're not in the top tier of Gibson Dunn, Latham, MTO et al. but I'm still curious; one of the few firms I had heard about before law school.

From what I understand, they have a very strong Labor & Employment group even compared to other top firms. I'm a rising 2L so not much info, but that was told to me by a L&E partner at a different firm.

From my own investigation, they seem to have an uncommon amount of laterals, but that might just be small sample size.

They pulled an offer from an incoming SA when s/he told them s/he was clerking. His/her school made very clear that if SM did this again, it would be banned from OCI.
