There's a lot of NY threads on here, jw what people's experiences have been re: CB --> offer timeline and ratio for Chi

Same day to two days later. Only dings have come later for me. For people I talk to, the sweet spot seems to be 1-3 days later. Probably shouldn't read anything into this though, offers and callbacks will always be cancelled with spots opening up, making for later timelines.

And for OP, based on my experience last year, Chicago firms were generally slower with decisions than NY firms (though less so at the major ones like Kirkland and Sidley)

-Offer received in the evening on the same day as cb.
-Ding reveived next day
-Ding reveived two days later

Two offers one day after the callbacks, one offer same day. Silence from two other firms.

I've heard most people get offers about 1-3 week days after the CB. However, if you haven't received a ding you are still in the running. Everyone can only end up at 1 firm and people will start rejecting offers soon and that's when the firms start sending offers to their waitlist.

hes probably bored but he also gives out practical advice sometimes which i appreciate
