Suit for 1st Day as Permanent Associate?

Is it standard to wear a suit for your first day as a permanent big law associate? I'm at a business casual firm, but almost everyone wore suits for the first day of the summer program and I don't want to be the one guy who gets it wrong this time around.
Sorry if there's been a thread on this recently -- I couldn't find one.

When in doubt bring a matching jacket and tie just in case. But you will probably be fine in business casual.

You're a lawyer, wear a suit.
It might be the last time you have to wear one, but just put it on unless it's painfully obvious you don't need to.

There's nothing wrong with emailing the recruiter (or whomever has been communicating with you about your first day) and asking.
