Do the practice areas of my callback interviewers matter that much? I'm interested in transactional work, but I'm interviewing with several litigation associates.

But before assuming that they just couldn't get corp people - take a look at NALP to see the practice area breakdown of that office. If its a satellite or something, they may only have lit associates, and therefore only have jobs for people interested in lit
