Hi everyone! What are people's thoughts about canceling callbacks? How much advance notice do you need to give them? I got an offer from one of my top choices last night and have an interview this afternoon somewhere I wouldn't take now. Is it more polite to cancel this morning or to go even though I know I wouldn't accept if they were to give me an offer? Thanks for your opinions!

Do the interview. If this was gonna be 1-2 days notice, I'd say call and let them know you'd like to withdraw your application, but morning of is a little much. Do the interviews as if you really want the offer. For all you know, next summer may not go your way and you'll want another firm out there who deemed you offer-worthy.
