They are doing cbs pretty late. The CLS cbs couldn't be scheduled before the 27th.

I don't think that's late. A lot of these firms want a diverse pool of applicants and that involves getting people from each school. Most people from your school probably did OCI at the same time and are in the same boat in terms of when their CBs are scheduled. If it's C+N, these schools end up pumping a lot of people into biglaw despite relatively late OCIs and large classes. I wouldn't read too much into it unless you're talking mid-late September.

It looks like some people have already done FF CBs already. There are a few in other threads about 8/13 CBs and offers/dings already. You'll want to check your specific school to get a better idea.

I don't have mine scheduled until September 1st! You'll be okay.

Actually I was at their CB today, I met several CLS kids.

Also I was told by their recruiter that they will make offers this week.

So yea, after Labor Day is kind of late.

I did mine last week. I suspect if you put the squeeze on them and say you're in town, and it would really fit with your schedule to do this week, they'll make it work. Whether that helps you or not I'm not sure, but I do know they've extended offers already.

Had a callback - > offer this week. I think the week turnaround was due to the fact that my callback was the day before the recruiting committee meets.

Good luck. Just try to relax and have normal conversations. If you got a callback they've already decided your resume meets the threshold, now it's a 'fit' test.
