Interest in more than one office

I have a screener tomorrow and I need some advice. Based on information from the firm's website, including information on their hiring page, the firm is pretty accepting of people being interested in more than one office (you can apply for up to two, they will allow split summers, they have programs for new associates moving between offices, etc...). My screener tomorrow is in my second choice city (and they know I'm interested in two cities based on my CL). I guess I'm just wondering if I need to play it safe and play up my interest in the city I'm interviewing in or if it's ok to discuss both and even say my first choice is the other city if they ask.

Generally, I think people should err on the side of playing it safe

I agree. If a firm is accepting of splits, you can have that conversation after receiving an offer. While still trying to get an offer, having an interest in multiple cities might make you a less attractive candidate. They have to fill their hiring needs in various geographies, and uncertainty isn't helpful for them (even if they're O.K. with flexibility down the road).

This, unless the screener is with Skadden.
When I interviewed with them last year they not only were okay with, but encouraged interest in/doing callbacks with multiple Skadden offices

ALWAYS SAY YOU ARE INTERESTED IN THE OFFICE YOU ARE INTERVIEWING AT. EVEN IF THEY CLAIMED THEY ARE HIRING FOR ALL OFFICES. EVEN IF THE OFFICE YOU WANT IS THE HEADQUATER
this is my real freaking experience. I interviewed for a STL-based firm in Chicago, and alluded to the practice group that is huge in STL office. I SAW THE interviewer made notes on my resume, and the face of my writing sample.
