Rising 3L V30 offer. MVP. Interviewing at a V5.

I've been told that these callbacks are a lot different from 2L callbacks because the firm expects you to have a bunch of targeted questions regarding a specific interest. At this point, realtalk would be "I'm looking for prestige and better work," but what are the firms looking for?

In your opinions, what are the best questions (about the firm) to ask and things to talk about if we don't have casual bullshit conversations?

It's gonna be just like 2L callbacks. Ask the same questions. All of the firms in the V5 think they are better than the firms in the V30 so act accordingly. They won't mind you saying you want to go to a place where you can do the best work.

That said, don't shittalk your summer firm. Let them know you had a good experience and would be happy to go back but want to upgrade for whatever reason.
