Detroit Litigation Market - is it slow?

So I know a firm in Detroit whose litigation group is slowwwww, and I know from well placed sources that this seems to be market-wide. But then I also know of a peer firm that is swamped....
Anyone in this market confirm or deny what I'm saying?

very slow. almost no job postings for litigation in michigan period.
i do see the real estate and corp. industry picking up but not lit

Bump - the reply is appreciated, and I know other Detroit lawyers lurk here occassionally, so bump just to see if anyone else has first hand knowledge.
Also more broadly - anyone from anywhere care to speculate on market forces that cause entire regions litigation market to dry up?
