Obviously there are many many variables, but generlaly does anyone know how many call backs are extended per offers.

i.e. would a firm have 10 call backs for 1 offer?

(1) You'll have better luck on questions like these in the legal employment forum

(2) It depends a lot on the firm's size and its market. For very large firms in major markets, 60% or more of the students called back will receive an offer. Smaller firms have more variance, but often give fewer offers per callback since they can afford to bring in a few people for just a handful of slots.

It really can vary wildly though. My favorite example is that DPW gives offers to like 30% to 40% of the people it calls back while Sullivan & Cromwell gives offers to 95%+ of the people it calls back, despite both being very similar firms in terms of size/practice/reputation.

Statistics like these are exactly what I'm trying to discover with my website http://www.biglawrefuge.com. Hoping that as you guys go through OCI you can record your results (anonymously or not) and this data will be beneficial to job seekers.
