Good why law school answer?

CB tomorrow. I have no idea why I went to law school other than it seemed like a good way for a person with a 2.4 to get a job. Would "looking to make a difference" be too cheesy if I want to work in corporate transactional?

Yes. If you ever want to make anything of yourself as a lawyer you'll need to be able to invent better BS than that.

Do not say wanting to make a difference. Think about why you really went to law school and answer it. Why law school instead of another grad school? Why law school instead of a job? It's ok to be a little honest. Think of the honest answer why you went to law school and put a slight spin on it.

Yeah, even if the reason is "it was a good way to get a job", that could easily be reworded to "it was a viable opportunity where I could fully apply myself and do meaningful work" or some similar bullspew.

Forget why you went to law school. Think about why you want this job. That's your answer.
