Alternate but already scheduled

So I am listed as an alternate for a company in my school's OCI, but it already has me scheduled in for a screener time slot. what does this mean? did i get the interview? thanks, i am very confused and new to this

It likely means you were scheduled for the interview, but the only way to really know is to contact your CSO and ask them.

if you are finally selected, your CSO will inform you. i would not book the ticket or anything for now. if you are not selected, they are going to cancel your scheduled interview on simplicity. so just because you have a status on simplicity site doesnt mean you are getting that. believe it or not, even shceduled preselect can be canceled because of "further narrow down research"
