Whoa! Offers or interviews? They just sent out emails calling for apps at my school last week...Skadden moves fast.

At the firm I got a pre-oci cb/offer (v50), I reached out during the year and spoke to recruiting/went to some firm receptions.

Network hustling all last year and throughout the summer. All of my callbacks are firms coming to OCI. But they're more than happy to move early if you're a decent candidate and have made connections.

Hustling. If your grades are high and/or you're attractive in some other way (IP/diverse/worked in biglaw before in some capacity/have a current summer associate position already), many firms are willing to straight up call you back based on simply emailing them. Usually it's a combination of grades + one of the other factors listed, but grades alone can do it if they're high enough.
