What if the firm I am summering at is not the best fit for me?

Anyway you've got a couple options. Do 3L OCI with whatever firms are willing to pick up people like you interested in jumping ship, pretty common (3L OCI isn't as much of a flame if you have a BigLaw offer already in hand). Or clerk, release your offer while you're clerking, and reapply all over as your term is concluding.
