Top Law Schools

There are handful of "Collection Employers" that are simply collecting resumes but not interviewing on campus during OCI. They are mostly top firms. Is there a real shot at getting a SA at any of these firms? Are they seriously considering candidates from my school or just there for show?

Bumping this. Are there any success stories from people getting screeners or even responses with collection employers? Should I be mass mailing them too?
