Hello,
I interviewed for a clerkship about five weeks and haven't heard anything back from chambers.
Wondering if it would be inappropriate to send an email to to deputy expressing my continued interest and inquiring it hiring was still continuing.
Thanks

Five weeks is a long time in terms of clerkship hiring. I would definitely check in, but I'm afraid that it might not be good news.
