Characterizing a Small-Firm "Offer" for 3L OCI

Post by OutoftheWoods » Tue Jun 09, 2015 5:08 pm

I expect to get an offer from my small law firm i'm working at as a clerk, not an SA this summer, but to continue on during 3L year. Obviously I can't tell firms I received a full-time offer, but is it at all noteworthy to say they want me to continue on as a clerk during the year? I know not getting a full time offer isn't great regardless (i know for a FACT they are not hiring anyone), but maybe a 3L school-year offer will help a bit?

Certainly can't hurt. When they ask about it (which they will) just mention that you had a great experience so much so that you've accepted their offer to continue to work part time during the school year. Best of luck with OCI.
