SA: "Oh cool! How exciting! How do you transfer offices?"
Chicken: "Plz stop talking to me. Omg I hate small talk."
Because people never split their SA between two offices at the same firm. NOPE not something that has ever happened.El Pollito wrote:you're not going to make partner yet and you sure as fuck aren't in a position to ask about office transfers

Insofar as people asking to split offices pre-acceptance of a SA have even less of a job than SAs, yeah, it's pretty responsive.El Pollito wrote:This comment is totally non-responsive.OneMoreLawHopeful wrote:Because people never split their SA between two offices at the same firm. Like, the idea that it's cool for random 2Ls to ask to split offices during OCI, but they somehow lose the ability to ask for a transfer as 2nd year associates (which is what the guy in the transfer thread was actually considering) is so stupid that it's hard to comprehend.
I am pretty sure that's not what the guy was talking about / what chicken was adderssingOneMoreLawHopeful wrote:Insofar as people asking to split offices pre-acceptance of a SA have even less of a job than SAs, yeah, it's pretty responsive.El Pollito wrote:This comment is totally non-responsive.OneMoreLawHopeful wrote:Because people never split their SA between two offices at the same firm. A law school classmate of mine made a gloating post on Facebook back when we were 3L's that involved photos of stupid little shitty "swag" items her V20 sent her for, well, I don't know why. We're talking like a mug and some $.12 made in China keychains or someshits--I don't remember--and she was exclaiming, "OMG best swag ever! Can't wait to start in the fall!"kjartan wrote:That reminds me this girl in my class posted something warm and fuzzy about her SA on facebook. I hope she gets an offer and biglaw crushes her soul.
Bro, I'm not a SA but thanks for playing.minnbills wrote:Exhibit A:
