Do post-1L grades matter for post-clerkship biglaw?

Hey all, I'm a HYS 2L with a COA clerkship lined up for post graduation. I'll probably be targeting lit boutiques like Susman and Kellogg after my clerkship, and I'm wondering if there's any point in trying to score good grades from now until graduation. My 1L grades were close to their level, but maybe a little low, and I've done well since then.

If you've done well since then, why not just keep doing what you're doing?

More than anything I'd like to get the pressure off me.

For post-clerkship biglaw? Generally no. For elite lit boutiques like Susman and Kellogg? Yeah, your 2L and 3L grades can definitely matter.

Thanks, good to know.
And you're right that "biglaw" wasn't the right term.
