Looking for advice on how to handle and do well as a 3L hire in big law in NYC. Any and all advice is appreciated.

No difference, no one cares you are a 2L or 3L hire once you are in.

I think OP is asking for advice on meeting colleagues, getting in line for assignments, etc. because you don't know anyone.
