Top Law Schools

I've been working in a nonlegal job since graduation last year and I just took the February NY bar. The problem is, New York has a new pro bono requirement where attorneys need to have 50 hours of pro bono work prior to admission. I never interned for a judge or any other public interest employer during law school and I currently work a full 9-6 schedule so I can't really volunteer during normal day hours... Does anybody have any ideas as to how I can fulfill this requirement otherwise?

Not sure if this helps, but in Illinois (for example), you can volunteer for a few hours a week as a Livehelp Operator for Illinois Legal Aid Online. All the work is done remotely, so you can get your pro bono hours in while working a regular job.

Maybe there's a similar program in New York? I have no idea but it might be something to look into
