C&f for bar question - getting let go

There is a really good chance my employer is going to let me go because they found out I'm going to law school in the fall.

Could that potentially be an issue for my c&f for the bar? I don't have any performance issues at work, but the culture is very unforgiving to people who are not 110% invested in the company for the long haul.

Should I just quit now before they let me go? I kind of would like to collect unemployment and quitting would eliminate that option.

Thanks!

Depending on your jurisdiction, there will be a question "Have you ever been fired, or quit to avoid being fired, from a job?"

You'll say yes. Give a brief explanation why. Nobody will care. :)

As far as whether you should quit or get fired, either way, you'll probably have to disclose and either way, nobody will care.

No matter what you do, just disclose it and be candid and honest with C&F.

Complete non-issue.
