So if I get hired by a firm, do they usually, at some point in the process, ask you to list all legal employment? I ask because last year, I took a law clerk job, worked for two days, then switched to a better place. What do I do in this situation?

just was wondering if it is for conflicts, after you're already hired, or if its something they check(i.e., lets call this dude who our employee worked with for 2 days to a week) before they finalize the offer. Just, I dont know how happy the other guy was with me quitting after 2 days, although I tried to be nice about it. I still have to figure out whether I need to get his signature for my bar application (ny) have heard different things.

No. Don't list on your resume.

Thanks guys, thats quite helpful. Now, since I'm in NY, I need to know if I have to go see these people again to sign my bar application. That would be pretty annoying/uncomfortable.

you can probably call the ny bar but i think you're overthinking this a lot. if the bar sends them something it's probably just getting stamped by hr. unless you took a shit on your bosses desk on the way out i doubt anyone cares about you
