Bothering friends, classmates, alums for jobs?

When is enough enough? I feel just awful asking people for help. I've tried both approaches - 1) just bluntly asking for help in finding a job and 2) showing legitimate interest in the practice area in hopes of getting some good advice.

I would just start my own practice if I had the experience, but I don't. I am a 2013 graduate, and like the other person posting on here from that graduating class, I have worked a variety of clerkships at firms, but have had virtually no courtroom practice.

What else do you do in this situation? Please - realistic responses only. Thanks.

Unless someone tells you to stop bothering them, pursue anything and everything.
