US Attorney Office hiring -- how many pass each stage?

Just curious if anyone has any inside info. There was an opening for a civil AUSA in my local USAO, and I sent in an application. I received word that it was determined that I'm qualified for the job and I had been referred to the hiring person. I'm assuming that this just means I pass the super low first bar -- three years of practice and a law degree (in fact, I have several years in private practice at biglaw and non-federal government, the standard shiny good-school-plus-clerkship resume, etc.).

Does anyone have a good feel for how many resumes get referred on when USAOs are hiring? Am I being a pessimist by thinking it's probably hundreds?
