3 months since CB, heaven't heard anything back

I had a CB interview with this IP boutique firm in mid-august, interviewer told me i should be expecting to hear back from them by the end of September, i waited and nothing happened, last week i sent a follow up e-mail to several people who interviewed me, one replied back saying my e-mail was forwarded to their recruitment committee and they should be getting back in "due course" (which sounds extremely vague imo), nothing came up to date. I read that someone else's comment on this firm saying that he/she had gone through the same process but never received a decision, should I just treat this as a rejection and move on? or should I send them another follow up later?
