Partner - Associate Relationship?
So, question for those working in big law.
Does your Partner give you work matters/assignments as to what they want directly?
Or, do Associate have the autonomy to develop particularly work assignments and give next steps/solutions etc.
In other words, what's an Associate "real" value to the Partner?

also, OP, you've managed to formulate a question incredibly unclearly, twice.
