Has anyone here taught law before? Not necessarily at at a law school, but maybe at a Community College or University?
I will be working for a big firm (that doesn't pay like a big firm) next year. I've been thinking about possibly teaching as a side thing after a couple years of working. Has anyone done this? Does this require a PHD?

I've looked into this as well, and it doesn't look like you need to have a Ph.D to teach as an adjunct professor at a CC or even U. From the places I've looked at, if you're admitted and have some work experience in the field, you can teach law related classes.

It sounds as if you're interested in doing this to supplement your big firm that doesn't pay like a big firm salary, in which case you should take into account that adjunct teaching pays next to nothing at most CCs, universities, and law schools (sometimes literally nothing). Given that teaching a class for the first time is extremely time-intensive, you'd be making something close to minimum wage.
